Ugbajo Itsekiri USA Inc and its affiliates sponsor activities in healthcare in Warri Kingdom and here in the United States. In 2012, Dr. Fabian Iwere then President, initiated our first Blindness Prevention and Cataract Surgery Program. In that first year, we served only ten recipients. Since then, we have run the program annually and beneficiaries now number over two hundred each year. At our last program in 2021 in Sapele and Warri from Nov 18 to 23rd. there were over 200 beneficiaries. Our partner in this effort is the Africa cataract Foundation in Nigeria.
