Summary
Our Board of Directors have the vision of supplying independent financial sustenance for current and future programs of Ugbajo Itsekiri USA the next generation of leaders will conceive. At the 24th Convention in Dallas Texas we set up a modest $1million dollars Endowment Fund. This is beside our annual general contributions and fund raisers for ongoing programs.
The purpose of this Fund is to ensure sustainability of Ugbajo programs through an independent self-generated sources. This is to ensure we avoid the uncertainty of continuity of programs due to ebb and flow of volume of annual donations. Income from an Endowment fund will take the uncertainty off our mission. Guaranteed conservative return from the endowment will improve financial planning and ensure that our activities continue into perpetuity.
GOAL
We want to raise one million dollars in over the next five years in a permanent endowment. The Fund will be managed by an Endowment Governing Team independent of but responsible to the Board of Ugbajo Itsekiri USA Inc. Its assets will irrevocably be managed by a publicly quoted Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) in the United States with proven capacity . e.g., Vanguard, Charles Schwab, Fidelity , Ameritade etc.
It will be governed by bye laws and will supply annual audited financial reports the members and the public.
